newer 235 hyd. clutch

hey guys has anyone used a later (60'-62') 235 hyd clutch setup on a 55'-59' 235? since the brakes are being updated to disc. thought using a newer hyd. setup for clutch might work making bracket to mount modern cylinder to operate clutch with stock pedals. the stock cylinder bore is 29mm (1 1/8") and it seems most modern ones are 18mm (11/16th") somewhat smaller bore. the ones i checked were later model GM truck and car cylinders that are nice and small. seems like all that would result in using smaller bore cylinder is more pedal effort. throw some feedback my way. thanks.
