Powder Coated Intake

I bought a used intake and wasn’t happy with the way it was cleaning up. I was thinking about powder coating it anyway so I pulled the trigger and had it done. I had medium gray picked out and as I was walking out the door, the black chrome chip caught my eye. I decided at the last minute to go with the black chrome. I wish I would have stayed with the original selection but too late now. It does look a lot better than the pictures show.

I picked up a nice 800 Edelbrock but I can’t use it with the air cleaner that I want. I may ditch the Edelbrock and go with a Holley. I have some time before my motor is complete so I’ll worry about that later.
