1990 Jimmy f/s

I've got seven vehicles at my house right now so something has to go. I'm replacing my Jimmy with a '71 GMC 2500 p/u so it's up for sale. I'll try the board first and then move onto Truck trader, paper, etc...Those on the board will of course be given more bargaining power!

Details:

1990 GMC Jimmy SLX, Red exterior w/Marroon seats and Grey carpet and trim. 350c.i. TBI, AOD, a/c, no pw or pl. Rear power window. Stock height with 31" ZR4s on stock aluminum wheels. Tires are 75% and in good shape. Sheetmetal is straight and rust free. Rear diff has about 1500 miles on a complete rebuild (ring/pinion, carrier, all bearings and seals). Recent brakes. Driveshaft has been cut and balanced with new u-joints. 3.42 ratio gears.

This Jimmy is clean and staight. Runs and drives excellent. Has been my daily driver and has never let me down. 118K miles.

For a little history, I've owned the Jimmy for about 1.5 years and 10K miles. I have maintenance records since new to about 99K miles. During that time it was owned by the Aurora Fire Dept. here in Colorado. The maintenace was meticulous and the records are an inch thick. The owner before me swapped in the grey interior and evidently used it for about 8K miles but I don't have records for this time period.

It does have some flaws. The paint looks good for the most part but the clear coat on the hood has peeled in spots and the clear coat on the Drivers door came off where they peeled the fire dept. decal. Not a big deal but would like to make you all aware. It was a relatively stripped down model with no power locks or windows (besides rear window) however it does have a/c. The a/c is complete and has never been messed with but doesn't blow cold. I'm assuming it didn't get used enough with the Fire Dept. and might have dried a seal and needs a recharge. The compressor works fine and is not seized and the belt is still on it.

Including original purchase price I have well over $7000 into the Jimmy. I know I won't get my money back out of it but it needs to go. I'd like to ask $5500 but I will consider any reasonable offer. Please shoot me a pm or email if interested, have questions, or would like me to email some pics. It'd be real nice to get this sold asap so any help would be appreciated.
