66 is ready for the track!!!!
Started this little 'engine swap' in February so I'd have a summer race car that didn't require the firesuit and all. well here it is cooling off and the pig is FINALLY ready to go do some T&T and working through the shift, throttle stop settings, delay, bal bla Electronics HA!!! what have I gotten myself in to!
welp, as promised, heres some update pictures.   Layout inside became a TOTAL re-wire, building a new dash (even has LED turn indicators and bright indicator and it all works!!! LOL) Getting the electronics, Co2 bottle , and all at hand proved to be more up comlex than I dreamed. But bending up a 'tree' from 1-1/4" tubing worked out pretty good. OK....    Track is open for T&T this friday so with 2 seconds in the delay, and a 6000 rpm shift we'll see how much more it has to be slowed down :-)

I just did my taxes and reviewed my SS statement. Thanks to the current administration it looks like I will only have to work till noon on the day of my funeral. |
