Big block cam selection
Alright, time to build a motor for the mud truck, last week was the end of the old motor.......... 6 quarts of 85w90 and she still only has around 10psi when revving
Here is what I have already 4 bolt 454 block .030 over 12.5 TRW pistons with GM Dimple Rods GM STEEL Crank - Need to decide if the crank needs turned or just run an oversized thrust bearing. Torque convertor ballonned and push it forward a little I was told. World Product Grumpy Steel Heads that have been ported Victor Jr Intake Need: Carb - Debating on 1050 E-85 carb Cam and lifters ??????? I already have talked to Doug Herbert about their cams and he recommends a solid roller? I was thinking along the lines of a Hydraulic Roller, never ran a solid cam before? What is your guys opinion ?? Truck weighs about 3 tons or so if you were wondering thanks guys
