Heater Core 2000 1/2 ton. *isntalled*

I'm looking into replacing the heater core for a friend. The fitting broke off in the engine compartment.

I've done a heater core in a mid 90's bronco, and it was extremly easy, only the glove box needed to come out.

Basically I'm concerned about 2 things.
How much, if any of the dash needs to come apart, or off (never done that)

And how those the fittings work on that heater core. They looked weird.
