Well Dennis if you insist; the build has taken a slight turn. Instead of investing in heads, 700r4 rebuild, & tune on the TBI; I have been talked into, initiated into the LS swap club. Thanks goes to Jonboy, Jmuck, Menace "to society"..lol I have decided the 5.3 will be cheaper. Jonboy located me a 5.3 from an '04 Avalanche w/59K complete with everything including tranny. It was a helluva deal. I thank this board and everybody here for all the good information for some us do-it-yourselfers. I was really scared since it was drive by wire but all the brothas mentioned above assured me there was nothing to fear and I will be happy especially with the the peformance gained and the $$$ saved.
