Fuel Gauge stuck at 1/2 tank

Guys I just took out my dash bezel to replace some bulbs, and touch up the needles. Since I have put it back int the gauge needle is stuck at 1/2 tank.
I put 20$ worth in today, and the needle didnt move. I didnt want to take the chance in running out while I was out on the road, however the needle didnt move.

Everything I have read on the boards say there is tan wire going to 16pin connector or so going into the electrical board on the back. Is there anything on the back of the gauge that needed to be hooked back up?
