haha. well I'm fairly certain it's almost dead on. I travel 25 miles to school everyday and it takes me just over 25 min. (The speed limit slows down to 55mph the last 8-10 miles).

My exhaust shouldn't have a leak...

The only other thing that I could think that could be effecting this is maybe my lifters. They sound awful, or at least I think that's what is causing a really bad sound. Everytime I accelerate it sounds thug-thug-thug-thug or it seems like there is a gap of air being released or something. I don't know how to really explain this...Has anyone else ever had this problem? Maybe this problem wouldn't have anything to do with my tach, the thing just could be a piece of junk as I only spent $20 dollars on it.

From the beginning I was planning on buying the full instrument cluster that comes with the battery gauge and oil pressure and even the built in tachometer. Does anyone know if these built in tachs are pretty accurate?? Or would it be better to buy a really nice tach and put it on my steering column?
