'67 K10 Front brake upgrade?

I know that there are a lot of brake upgrade kits for 2 wheel drive trucks out there, but it seems that a lot of the 4X4 guys are out of luck in that department. I'm looking to upgrade my front drums to discs on my '67 K10. It has a Dana 44 front axle on it....What I'm wondering is: Will 70-72 front disc brake components (backing plates, calipers, hub/rotors, etc.) from a 4x4 with a dana 44 bolt onto my truck's front axles? If so, what all is going to be needed to do this swap? If not, does anybody know of any brake conversion kits, or parts from other vehicles that will fit my truck?
