Steering pump bracket?
My '73 K20 squeels when I turn the wheels to full lock, obviously the belt isn't tight. Upon closer inspection, is the belt the ONLY thing holding my PS pump in place?!
I see three major bolt holes on the PS pump. Compared to the one in my '79 (both 350s) the top hole behind the filler cap bolts to the head, and the adjustment on the far right bolts to the exhaust manifold. This truck doesn't appear to have a bolt hole in the head and has a set of headers. What is missing here? Is there anything holding my pump on besides the belt? The third hole, on the bottom left, isn't bolted down in my '79 either.
