Electric Fan Size help
Well I have built a 383 and started it last night. Was going to break in the cam and brought the RPM up to 2000. The 5 paddle fan that I had secured to the water pump broke sending it into the radiator and destroyng the radiator, shroud, crank pully and water pump.
So the rebuild begins! I am going with electric fans now but not sure what size CFM the truck needs. Can someone advise what size fan I need to run and the best place to purchase them from 1987 Chevy R10, 383 stroker, Comp Cam 280H, Vortec heads, Airgap intake with a Holley 4160.
