Double wall to Single wall conversion
Just wondering what I can expect to change if I trash my double wall and convert to a single wall. After four years of bringing the blazer back to life I decided to restor the top this winter and a little closer inspection my double wall is pretty rotten, cracks, sags, missing chips. Two years ago I bought a single wall on evilbay for 150 bens, mainly for the hatch, of course it was trash. But looking closer at the top it is in much better shape, one repairable crack and no visible rot. Aside from the bedside mounting holes are there any other changes I would have to make to the top for this change? It seems that all that I would have to do is drill new holes in the mounting flange for this to work and maybe glass the original ones up. Thanks for any input. By the way everyone have a good thanksgiving.
