Question What could this be?

Sorry I don't have a picture to post yet but will soon. This part was mounted in the engine compartment ,to the left side of the truck. It was bolted next to my battery holder on the left side (truck came with dual batteries) on the fender above the fender well. It is one big heat sink, has 3 posts each maked B1,A,B2. Measures roughly 4"x3"x2.5". It had 2 red wires going to the A post that were live, and the 2 "B" posts each read same voltage as the A post.Nothing was hooked up to the B posts. Is this an isolator for the dual battery setup ? Truck did't have a second battery hooked up when I got it.I did not find any battery clamps for one either. Hope I explained it well enough. Any help would be great.

I will post a picture as soon as I can.
