Those with 700R4 please read.

I have a 71 SWB I'm getting ready to put a 700 in this weekend. Do you have to drill holes in frame when moving cross member, or are there holes there that line up? Do you need the upper part of the cross member or can it be removed? Any other things I need to look at before proceding. Thanks for any help.
