DIFFERENT gas filler idea.

so i'm trying to avoid doing body work (i like all my chips and scratches and dents they are "character marks") soooo....
what if i use my existing saddle tank filler door on my bedside and route a tube (hose), going to the back to the truck, to connect to a REAR custom EFI tank?? is that dangerous to have that rubber hose that long? keep in mind i'm using legit, thick fuel hose.

reasons why: i dont want a bed fill, tail light filler door is out of my league for fabrication, i dont want to pay for a side bed fill to be put in at the body shop, the saddle filler door just looks better to me than a costom built into the bedside (too smooth and modern for me)
THANKS brethren
