Indepent Front Suspension by Scott's H R
Just a quick note about Justins IFS kit from Scotts Hot Rod & Customs.
We picked up ALL the parts from Justin as PROMISED from the G G show in Scottsdale and let me tell you they are quality parts, and HEAVY DUTY!! For the first time builders this IFS kit is as simple as reading a level and a tape measure you will be surprised how easy this kit is to install. This will be the third type of IFS I will be using, the first one is on my 55 GMC is a Mll, and it has been a daily driver since 1993 wore out once and replaced all the used up pieces. The next one is the Dodge Dakota which is on my 53, with 1500 miles it is heavy duty and rides and feels much better than the Mll kit I have on my 55 GMC. Both of these trucks have Bilstine shocks on all four corners and I can feel the diference in the ride and handeling, with the Dodge suspension, being a better handeling truck. The extended cab truck that has the Scott's kit is a ways from being on the road but I will keep you all posted as to the progress. Pics to follow, (I forgot the camera) yesterday
