Re: Rebuilding a 305 V6, worth it? Please come in!

I think those V6's are cool... My 64 GMC came with the Chevy Inline 6, when I started tearing into it I thought of building a small block... so cheap, so many parts and such an easy bolt in.... I decided to stay with the I-6. Got an HEI from Aerotruk (thanks again) a set of headers, rebuilt the carb and put a new fuel pump, and it runs like a top. Sounds cool too and should run for as long as I want it too. If it was a V6 in there, I'd keep that too. I just see so many small block V8s it gets kinda old.
