454 question.

i am thinking about picking up my buddies 454 to build up for my drag truck i'm SLOWLY constructing, but the thing is its a two bolt. i know that with 400 sb thats the way to go, and with 350's 4 bolt is usually the way to go from what i've heard. so my question is would it be better to get the 454 and splay (spelling?) the caps or look around for a four bolt. i want to build it so that i can strap a blower on it later. when the power itch gets me. if i'm leaving out needed info let me know.
