Question Tow ratings

Hi
I just bought a 28’ 1983 travel trailer and I am going to try to pull it with my 1972 Chev half ton with a 350 and an automatic transmission with factory installed heavy duty springs. I am having the receiver installed on Friday and I don’t know if this old truck will handle the weight as I have no clue how much the trailer weighs. I think it is between 5000 and 6000 lbs dry.
I can’t find any tow ratings anywhere.
Any help/comments would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
roid
