Stripped Lower control arm bushing!
I was installing new lower control arm shafts w/bushings on my 72' 1/2 ton 2wd and realized that the bushing was rotating with the shaft when I was trying to torque the bushings. What to do? New control arm? Can I weld/tack the bushing to the control arm until I can find a new replacement control arm? The threads in the control arm were questionable when I dismantled the shaft assembly! This drop is turning into a $$$ nightmare! Help Please? Thanks! Its the right side...;-)
