14 bolt rear brake help

well after the snow storm i noticed at stop lights my ass end was "walking" put the truck up on the lift at work an found I got no rear brakes that was TWO WEEKS ago. Every GM mechanic I have talked to has given me a completely different answer its a 14 bolt 10.5 the BIG GM rear end now my passenger side adjuster is completely frozen even after 2 cans of PB Blaster what I need to know is if I need to pull the axles an hub in order to gain access to the brakes an adjuster?? have no idea what year, the truck is a 82 cab it was a tech school project vehicle i do know the front end came from a 72 3/4 ton (recent brake job), the rear end does have numbers but its still at the shop havin problem loading pics but ill try again in the AM before work, everyone seems to think ALL GM drums are pull offs but one of the older mechanics says the older stuff you gotta pull the axles, snap ring, key an hub nut to access the brakes?? any one got ideas?? thanks in advance
