canister type oil filter to spin on type conversion

I have on older 327 years ago I converted it to the spin on type well I am currently rebuilding it and need the gasket or o-ring or what ever goes into the hole before my converter goes in. I went to the local autoparts store and they sold me a felpro kit with several gaskets and o-rings in it some I believe for an external oil cooler? These all seem too small. What do I need to ask for or does someone have part numbers or what did you do? I am pretty sure it will leak without something???

help...
