Inline six

I have a dumb question, did chevy motors come from the factory painted blue? I am looking at buying a running inline six from an 84 C10. The motor is complete with dizzy, starter, alt, carb, and intake. I am wanting to put this motor in my 69 GMC. I am going to put a 4.3 throttle body on it, some headers, and a 200r4.

I don't think its a ford inline, but you can tell the paint has been there a long time, the whole motor is painted on a light blue color. Any input would be great.
