Need Help ASAP "Sound Deadener Kit"

Hello to All: I need help ASAP please, I'm about to install my sound deadener kit (the white foam / ashphalt kind, aka EVA) directly on the floorpan (white foam first, and then the asphalt sheet next on top of the white foam) but my question is, should I use an areosol type of glue (and what brand works best 3M or ???) to hold the white foam in place (especially around the trans. hump) and then glue the same areas between the white foam and asphalt sheet also?
