The motor is in and running...

Well, We finished up the motor swap last weekend, and my dad had the exhaust put in wednesday. I finally got to drive it for the first time last night.. Stomping the pedal is really nice! It'll bark going into second pretty nice. Overall, the swap went pretty smoothly, and didn't take very long. In about 3-4 weeks, we got a lot done.

94 LT1 and 4L60E
2" body lift
underbed tank
AC
dual exhaust with a crossover (dynomax super turbo mufflers)

It took a lot of work, and a pretty large chunk of change, but it's totally worth it. The truck was a 250/3spd before. On the interstae, I could reach about 70-75 with the pedal on the floor. Now, the truck will do 85 easy. It gets there pretty quick. 3.73 rear end and the short first in 700r4/4l60e is a match made in heaven.

The one thing I regret is using poly body supports. They're a lot stiffer, and they squeak constantly. Other than that, I could be happier.
