What a Day!!!!!

drove down from Cincinnati area to lexington to meet Wild4Wheels yesterday. saw his 67 panel trcuk. Boy am i jealous..
got a really nice hood for my 71 chevy truck project and a drivers fender for a GREAT price! tied the hood onto the ol' minivan and threw the fender in the back.
on the way down , the tranny started to lunge a little goin 85, so i stepped it down to 65 (the speed limit) and limped to the nearest gas station. put in a quart of tranny fluid and made it home ok. pullecx in the driveway and the brakes started squealing. Take the parts out and inspect/drool over them.
check the front end, trans fluid stinks, brakes are worn down to squeak bar, tie rod ends need replacing.
Cut my finger down to the bone on the hood lifting it off the roof by myself. it bled for 4 hours.
spilled a whole 32 oz. beer in my lap at dinner. came home to 5 voicemail messages from an irate customer, complaining about his pool liner not being done. went out to the garage to heal my wounds with a couple of cold ones, and stepped in a pile of dog sh$t barefoot!
All in all, though... A GREAT DAY! and
