NEED HELP! I've got a BIG REAR (drums)

short story:
ive got a BIG DRUM '72 c10 rear and wondering if i can use later model brake parts on it since i cant find new '72 big brake parts...???

long explanation:

'72 c10 rear and just found out that it has the BIG REAR DRUMS!
11-11/32 x 2-3/4" rather than 11x2"

problem is i need the drum and EVERYTHING inside it and i am only finding parts for the 11x2.... (only BIG thing i find is shoes)

i notice that later models are bigger and share the same 2-3/4" width but the diameters are 11-5/32 (6/32 smaller)

since i need everything... i am wondering if i can use everything from a later model as long as it is all matched up?
anyone tried this?

PO had put 11x2 stuff on it and didnt realize that he was only using 1.25" of his 2" shoes!!! yikes... i was like WOW when i open it up!
