Valve machine work question???

So Im taking the plunge and am going to try and rebuild my entire engine. The only original part I plan on using (internally) is the crankshaft ( If its good shape) Its a 250 that had a stuck lifter ( I suspect). 1970 block and unsure about the head, but not integrated with the manifold.
.

My first step was to have the head work done. Im planning on taking everything apart and have the machine shop. Tank, resurface (if needed), magnaflux and do a valve job. Then I plan on installing a lump port kit myself.

Well my questions are these.

Do I need to furnish the new valves to the shop with the head when I bring it in?

What else should I be looking for and asking for?

And ballpark cost?

Any and all input is appreciated upfront. Thanks guys.
