stepside question
So 73-78 have the round fuel filler hole and 79 up has the square fuel door on it, right? If you get a bed with a square filler door, can you just swap that bedside fender out with a round hole (new aftermarket or whatever) and it work? Or are the actual bed walls different some how?
I've really been looking for a round hole step bed, but they seem few and far between. I have the chance to get a square hole step bed, and it needs the right fender replaced anways, just wondering if that works. I've never owned a stepper, so this is an area I am totally clueless on.
