Body mount differences

Im in the middle of swapping my 77 chevy body to an 85 frame. I noticed that the mounts for the rear of the cab are different. I bought new mounts for a 77 thinking they were all the same. The 2 mounts on the 77 sit about an inch or two below the top of the frame, and the 85 sits about flush. Were the newer body style bushings shorter than the 77? all the other mounts look the same except the rear cab mounts.
