Question Chassis Plan - what do you think?

While I am waiting to go get my '70 cab and bed (in GA), and a '70 frame (here in FL) I have been crafting a plan for the chassis. You know scheming and dreaming. First, my plan is to swap the front cross-member and suspension from an 73-87 frame to make use of the 5 lug and disc brake set up. Second, I'd like to use the existing trailing arms but install the 73-87 rear axle. Third, my plan is to use an ECE 4/6 drop.

Some questions I have are:
If I want to put a big block in it, which frame stands do I use, 68-71 or 72/73-87?
The 73-87 rear axle doesn't have perches for the trailing arms or a boss for the track bar, are there brackets available for these?

What do you all think?
