Compatibility of cap/cover...and etc. HELP!

...bought a '67 c/10 with a '78 engine/tranny. Are all master cylinder caps/cover the same?? I need to replace mine because it leaks. Also, the engine oil dipstick tube is loose and came off. What's a best way to permanently mount this? JB Weld??? Last, the previous owner used ATV silicon on the tranny oil pan and it leaks a bit. What are the steps to fix the leak? Last, when driving it home, it was puffing out clouds of smoke when accelerating on a cold night, would having glasspacks and no cats and headman long tube headers cause this? If so, how do I fix the issue? Thanks.
