WTB: 67-72 SWB 4WD FRAME / 2WD? are they the same?

Wtb: 67-72 swb 4wd frame / 2wd?
I have a 1970 SWB 4WD that the frame has rusted and cracked. Can I use my spring hangers on a 2WD frame? What about splicing a LWB frame or rear section? Resale ? +/- dose it matter if I want to do a complete restoration? The body is solid, new create motor and now a frame issue. Any help or suggestion would be appreciated.
