72/69 K10 project "Big Dreams"
Hey guys...thought i would go ahead and start a build thread. it will be a long slow process but maybe one day i will get it to where i want it. the frame of the truck is a 69 and the body is a 72. this is my second 67-72 chevy truck i got 72 c10 long bed when i was 14 as my first truck. i sold it when i was 15. ive wanted a 4x4 one ever since. im now 21 and finally have one. this will be a slow build due to me trying to get through college and all my other hobbies. Now to the truck
the body is a complete rust bucket. but mechanically solid i drove it 2 hours home it has a 355 and a granny low 4 speed 4 inch lift kit 35x12.5 goodyear wranglers my main goal for the truck is a weekend driver to play and beat on so the rough body doesn't bother me much. i would like to completely restore the frame and drive-train then just put the old body back on and drive it since i bought it i replaced the rubber brake lines from the frame to the front wheels
