Here is where it got interesting. Back in the 80's, a drunk chick hit the truck while it was parked. She glanced off of it and ended up across the street, in a used car lot. It was ugly! Well, truck was fixed at a "Body shop". It did'nt look too bad, but was not right. So I blasted the bed to find this!

This metal was WAY stretched, hammered, torched,ect. A 3' long bent up, bondo filled, oil can. I attempted to do something with it, and ended up doing this,

Unless you have mad skill's, or alot of time on your hands (I had the latter), do not make this decision! This 1/2 bedside "looks" like a nice peice. It even kinda fit. BUT! all of the bend radius's are not nearly as sharp as the original. A month of beating, banging, cussing, and consumption of a few Coors lights, I ended up with this,
