I may have to look into that damper if this trans grenades someday. Here is a better shot of how the OEM grill turned out. I love the way it looks much more so than the old chrome tube grill. Also figured out how to fix the transmission noise, I found a big round knob on the new stereo where when you twist it to the right the transmission noise fads away and replaced with music. That fix will have to work for now.
