Bedsides or new bed? That is the question

I have the usual rust issues over the rear wheels. They have been patched once before, so I'm not sure how advisable it would be to do it again.

I have located a couple of rust-free bedsides as well as a rust-free bed. I can get both bedsides for about half what the bed would cost, so my question is this: Is the hassle factor of swapping the bed sides enough to offset just coughing up the extra bucks and swapping the whole bed?
