a few junk yard parts

I made it to the junk yard today and picked up a few pieces. Got a nice hood ,no dents and straight very very little surface rust on underneath side around hood hinge 100 bucks . did i do okay ? I hope it will be better to use a original one in place of a new one ??? Got some brackets for steering column , radio delete plate some trim rings for trans trans case , nice shifter with knob . Got a inst. cluster with gauges pretty nice needles need painted . Any pics of restoring inst cluster out there like what paint on needles or can you add and more lights to it so it will be brighter ( just a thought ) on that ! My 72 i sold i wish the dash would of been brighter but it only had speedometer and fuel gauge ! Thanks for all your good posts and pics they all help Name:  Picture 120.jpg
