what do you do with the afternoon off?

the shop closed down early today because the towtrucks on a run 100 miles away in boise and the boss has a drs appointment. so i go home and eat lunch when i see the ex walk by my house. whats the first thing i do? grab the 65 shorty i was building for her and start heading down the road. no tags or insurance and 3 feet of exhaust sticking out each side and creep up on her. when she looks up i just mash the petal and start grabbing gears. if you cant hear yourself think when its idling you can only imagine the decibals running at 5 grand. im smiling ear to ear as i pass her. nothing can beat the look on her face at that moment. juvenile? sure. but im still smilin like a 5 year old at his first rod run
