Nice truck, but I would have some questions. I did not see any pictures of the inside of the bed - what shape is that in? I think any old truck will need repairs. Looks like it could use tires. In AZ this truck would need the factory smog equipment which seems to be missing. Personally, I would wait for grandpa's stock original truck - which are on the market from time to time. Once you get into $5-$6K for an old truck with bad gas mileage, a new truck with good gas mileage starts to make sense to me - but each to his or her own.
Here is an example of grandpa's truck, but they are all over the net. Power windows and locks can be a pain to fix, but I must admit I am spoiled and like the remote keyless I had installed on my old truck.
