Anybody seen these magnets before?

I was wondering if anybody has seen MAGNETS taped to the back of chrome headlight bezels before? This is the only pair I've got in chrome, and they came with a cylindrical magnet stuck to the inside of the bezels above the outside headlight. None of the plain steel or aluminum bezels I've come across has this magnet on the inside. I do have reason to believe the bezels had been removed from the grille before I got it because the bezels were attached with one-way screws, thus preventing headlight adjustment without some serious effort. I can't find my assembly manual for these trucks at the moment, otherwise I'd start by looking there, of course. Any idea what these could be for?
