I would jack up your rear and then set the axle tubes on jack stands and then air it out until you reach ride height. That way you can still get under it to measure. You may also, want the front in the air as well to make it level. Then measure the rear to make sure its centered and adjust your track bar accordingly.

What did you do to cover the whole you made for the rear end?

You staying in Sacramento or moving farther? Packing and unpacking the garage is the worst part for me when moving.
