Has to be the stupidest question in a while....

I have truck buckets as I'm sure most of you are aware by now considering the amount of annoying questions I ask. I have stripped the covers off of my seats and the foam is in good shape, but the frames are BADLY rusted. To fix the rust I want to remove the foam. But I can't see how to separate the foam from the frame without destroying the foam. Any suggestions? I can feel the spring, but they feel like they are sandwiched in between the foam. But the foam seems to be one piece. At a total loss and a standstill :/
