67 sbc motor mount question
I know this is a stupid question, but I'm new(ish) to the old truck thing. After experiencing the insanity of a '67 with a broken motor mount (WOT under sight load) I decided to park it and replace the mount. However, all the ones that I'm seeing are a little bit different. They look like they'll work, but I wanted to verify. So, the one I have doesn't look like it has as much rubber around the bottom side, but they look fundamentally similar. Just trying to avoid extra time in shipping/charges. Thanks!
Here's a link to the LMC/aftermarket type http://www.manestruckparts.com/store...Category_ID=16 And here's the one that came off it ... Also, I've heard of replacing them to a more secure/modern type. Does that mean changing out the frame stand too or is there any other solution I'm overlooking?
