Another Texan

Hi, my name is Trevor, I guess you could say I'm new here. I started looking at this sight trying to come up with ideas on my sons 65 chevy. We did the c-member swap before he went in the Marines. Since then not much work done and plans have changed. When my van broke down on him when he was home from graduation (very upsetting to me), the only shop that could fix it was the Dodge dealer! So I traded it to a shop down the road for a 71 C-10 P/U. Now I was told 350/350, after looking up engine idents, it was a 267, whaaaat? So now I'm in the process of installing a 454/400 my buddy sold me out of his motorhome, 60,000 miles on it. I have a 91 350/700r4 for our Marines truck as well, it has 78,000 miles on it. As soon as I can buy another camera, (two of them broken now), and figure how to post pics, I'll start build threads on both trucks. I'll be driving the 71, even tough I go by trevrolet65, it is for our Marine. Thats my story, and I'm sticking to it.

P.S. This is the best web site, loads of info on our trucks!
