66 Project question!!!

So here is the deal. I have a 66 c10 and I want to put a bigger motor in it and make it 4wd. I've gotten the suggestion to swap the body onto a k10 frame. I like the idea and would like to go forward with it but there aren't many k10 longbeds in my area for the price I'm looking to pay. I have found tons of suburban s that are 4wd with 350's or even better 6.2 diesels. The question I have is will the c10 body fit on a suburban frame and work with the motor and all with out having to move it or do any major changes. The c10 wheelbase is 127 in compared to the suburbans which is 129.5 in. Anyone heard of it being done? Please help!!!
