Light Transparent Garage Doors - The 1947 - Present Chevrolet & GMC Truck Message Board Network

I am looking into having a garage built this coming spring. I am in the process of researching garage doors. I am looking to put in one 16' X 8' overhead door.

What I have seen in my travels are shop doors that are some what transparent. Not glass panels, but appear to be some sort of composite material that provide security and insulation value, but will let the light through.

I have spent hours on google and many garage door website without much luck. I live in the middle of no where and about 10 hour drive to a decent overhead door company.

Just looking for information and if anyone here might now a manufacturer or has experience with this style of door.
