steering box help?
so i had all the suspension and steering off and now i've got the suspension back on and its time for the steering. i got a new steering box and i'm wondering how to get it set right. like when i have the steering wheel straight how do i get the steering box to where it is half way between locks so the steering wheel will be lined up with the box.
do i just count the turns from lock to lock in the steering box and then turn it out half of that from lock? that would get me close but i don't know how acurate i have to be. help me p.s. i'm anticipating an interesting 10 mile drive to the alignment shop
