Front bag brackets(cups)

88 gmc 1500 -- AVS cups, stock arms

Im getting ready to bag the front and have a few questions.
1. Do the lower cups get welded in, leave them floating, or weld a nut in them and bolt them down with allthread?
2. Top cups get nut welded in the cups and allthread to hold them in?(best way?)
3. Do i still use my sway bar with bags?

Mods..I thought i would ask here(88-98) instead of the suspension forum since i know some in here are bagged.
